My interest in photography started many years ago as a child. I loved the ability to seize a moment in time, forever. I once borrowed my father's old Pentax SLR and bought a roll of monochrome film and shot anything I could find. I found the subjects’ true depth and definition in the old standard, black and white. Spending time at the horse races I thought I would reminisce on those ideas and capture the pure strength of an athlete.
