Living in the DC Metro area for nearly 20 years has its privileges. I've put off shooting the DC area for years so it's about time to capture some of its best. I started early - 4am to be exact. I almost turned away thinking the sky was too black but just as I started packing up I noticed that blue hour had just begun. As seen from across the Tidal Basin.
