This is one of my favorite shots of the Golden Gate Bridge. It shows the north tower as seen from Battery Spencer hillside in San Francisco. Characteristic of the typical San Francisco scene show the bridge is framed in clouds. In most perspectives this shot would prove dull and uninteresting, but the cloudy sky really works in monochrome. When printed on silver metallic photo paper the depth and drama of the entire fame literally shines.
