It's easy to get lost in the natural beauty of Zion Canyon in southwestern Utah. There are miles of hiking trails to take in the scenery but my goal was up in the Narrows by the Temple of Sinawava that can only be reached by wading in waist deep creeks for what felt like miles. The rushing cool river requires my immediate attention so as not to lose my footing along the trek. It was not until this oasis amongst the chasm that I slowed long enough to capture the pure beauty nature has created over the milenia.
